The RubaLee's Story

The establishment of RubaLee's Southern Kitchen is dedicated to the loving memory of my mother and our family's late matriarch,
Ms. Ruba Lee Scott.

Growing up along

the mighty Mississippi

River in the heart of

rich Louisiana farmland,

our late mother,

Ruba Lee Scott, learned the art of growing

and cooking authentically

soulful river road cuisine.

At a very young age,

she perfected her recipes

and prepared them from

scratch for her family

and friends. As she

created enjoyable meals

for her children each

day, these dishes

became a part of our

family’s culture

and tradition.

Today, we honor her

memory by offering you

the opportunity to share in the uniquely

flavorful and hearty

meals we grew up relishing. Our consistently delicious

dishes are made from

scratch with the highest quality fresh ingredients.

We are a family owned

and operated company

that proudly supports

our local community by resourcing ingredients

and supplies from businesses located in

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas

and surrounding areas.

Ask us about

catering services,

weekly meal plans, and delicious orders that are available for scheduled pick-up and delivery. We also encourage you to let us assist you in planning

and preparing for weddings and bridal receptions, corporate

luncheons and events,

birthday and anniversary celebrations, holiday

parties, and other

special events.
